About the Aluna Dance Temple
Prayerformance Collective
Aluna Dance Temple is excited to announce our legacy ritual dance performance collective, where we explore together a sacred template for collective dance collaboration and solo dance performance.
This offering is led and facilitated by Kate Sky Dancer.
As a sacred dance collective, our work will be about passing on the sacred stories of our ancient lineages, Herstory, Dancing together through the living tradition of dance, embodiment.
As a collective of dancers, we will practice opening the temple body, exploring pathways of movement to bring forth the dances that wish to be danced, the stories longing to be told, the portals seeking to be opened through dance as ceremony, exploring the sacred places on this beloved earth, waiting for us to Dance upon them and bring forth the energy.

In our work together:
we are weaving invocation, prayer, intention, as we carve alchemy into living dance to be witnessed and shared with our community
We will be exploring dance, craft, choreography, as visionary tapestries, holding deep space for each other, to dive into transformational dance space
finding our collective dance tapestry thru powerful movement practices
we will connect our red thread and become the bridge between ancestor and descendant, between sky and earth, past and future.
we will be descending the currents of womb centered body wisdom, cultivating the honoring of our wombs as portals of creation through weaving ancient practices to honor our creative chalices together.
We will be journeying deeply together into dance as "prayerformance" as we journey around the Celtic Wheel.
This work is a collective approach towards exploring dance, craft, choreography as visionary tapestries for holding deep, transformational power, guided by Kate Sky Dancer, who will lovingly hold this Prayerformance Collective.
We will be journeying deeper into dance as prayer formants, as prayerful expressions, as a loving offering to our world through embodied movement, arts and dance, artistry and womb work.
